The first ArtRevolution artwork was designed in July 2008. It was the original personalised place name canvas that started the whole ball rolling. A lot of research went into the over-all design, selecting the right font style and developing an aged black background look. We consulted other graphic designers, interior designers and canvas printing experts to get the style and quality of our canvases perfect. The design was then developed into the regional N.Z place names series. In 2009 we launched our web site and have been steadily selling our original, exclusive canvas designs throughout New Zealand and overseas since. In July 2010 we upgraded and expanded our range of artwork designs and also included new products. We continue to build on our exclusive designs and product range today.
Our main focus is on producing premium high quality personal works of art. All our canvas artworks are proudly New Zealand made to our very high standards!
In the development stage we invested a lot of time and money into researching and finding an exceptional printer that could produce premium, high quality, printed canvases that did our designs justice. We know that as well as being extremely style conscious our customers also appreciate excellent designer quality.
The artworks are printed using the latest technology in Giclee Printing which prints using revolutionary pigment inks formulated with in-built U.V protection to inhibit fading. The Canvas is a premium high grade 430gsm photographic fine art blend for archival quality. It is also treated with two coats of a protective laminate to seal the canvas as well as provide a protective coating against scratches, U.V and moisture.
We don’t print on poor quality, thinner cheaper canvases as it just makes your artwork look terrible. They yellow and really don’t last. When we say heavyweight canvas we actually mean heavy - 430gsm heavy. NOTE: The higher the weight the heavier & thicker the canvas - It’s like T Shirt fabric - you can feel the difference in weight and see the difference in style between a thin cheap chain store T Shirt and a premium thicker weight, designer T Shirt.
